Google Continues To Buy Into King’s Cross

Search Engine looks to take an additional 160,000 sq. ft of work space in N1 to complement its planned £650m campus in the regeneration area.

Following a decision to review the existing plans for its King’s Cross ‘groundscrapper’, Google have shown interest in taking additional space surrounding the regeneration project. The estimated completion date for the original project has been pushed back by at least twelve months to 2017.

The new requirement, believed to be in the region of 160,000 sq. ft, has been sourced at 6 St Pancras Square. The project, expected to be completed in 2015, already has pre-let on approximately 55% of the 350,000 sq. ft development. Google currently have leases on additional offices in the capital that expire in the next 18 months.
