Village Hall Opens Its Doors

Co-working favourites Shoreditch Works have announced the opening of their newest event and work space venue overlooking Hoxton Square.

The space, which can accommodate 200 people, was secured with the help of Shoreditch Office Space, and we are delighted to have been able to assist such a fantastic community-driven project.

The venture has been funded through the Kickstarter scheme, a platform designed to help creative projects secure funding, and proved hugely successful, far exceeding the initial £25,000 target.

The project has not been without its setbacks, but now looks set to offer centrally located and ‘quintessentially Shoreditch’ event space to a wide variety of clients. In an move to integrate further with the community, Shoreditch Works are also offering 20% of their space to local community groups at no cost. It is hoped this will benefit smaller organisations and charities who are unable to spend significant sums on renting event space.

The doors are set to open next month, and here at Shoreditch Office Space, we can’t wait to see what they’ve done with the place!
