Samsung Team Up With Hospital Records At Boxpark

There are few things we enjoy more than an evening at Boxpark. Unless you throw in a few free beers, great music and some exciting technology gadgets.

The Shoreditch pop-up mall played host to the Samsung ‘creative collaboration’ with DnB label Hospital Records, using the storage crate space to showcase some of the latest offerings from the tech giant. Guests were treated to a live set by the legendary London Elektricity as well as having the opportunity to explore some of Samsung’s most recent mobile devices.

Speaking to Samsung staff, they explained that Boxpark was the ideal location to team up with the music label and deliver a unique consumer experience. The new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Note II were on display, with visitors able to explore their functions with a thumping bass line backdrop. Around a hundred Londoners were able to secure tickets, with many winning prizes through social media engagement on the night.

The hugely popular and entirely unprecedented Boxpark project has been a massive success in Shoreditch, providing a vibrant shopping experience during the day and an equally lively nightlife with a range of bars and restaurants above.

The shopping centre will be kept at its current location until 2015, following a large-scale regeneration project that will see the area surrounding Shoreditch High Street station transformed.
